To the southeast of Windsor is Greeley, home of the university of Northern Colorado, and the renown Greeley Symphony. Centennial Village brings area history to life for the public.

Fort Collins is located only 14 miles to the northwest of Windsor. Visit its "Old Town" for wonderful quaint shops and many fine restaurants. Colorado State University is famous for its Agriculture and Veterinarian Schools located on College Avenue. The Lincoln Center hosts many concerts, exhibits, and "speakers of the day". Fort Collins is also a mecca of micro breweries, which offer tours, tastings, and have restaurants incorporated within them. Stroll through the Anheuser Busch Gardens, see the magnificent Clydesdale horses, and enjoy a free tour of this notable brewery.

Loveland, nicknamed The Sweetheart City, is a community known for its love affair with the arts. Benson Park Sculpture Garden holds one of the largest public collections of bronze sculptures in the country.
